In a dark, abandoned apartment, 24-year-old Akira Tendo, a worker at a penal colony, watches a zombie movie with lifeless eyes. After three years working for a company that brutally exploits its workers, Akira has completely broken down. The fact that he can't find the courage to confess his feelings to his colleague, Ootori, doesn't add to his optimism.
Everything changes when one day he runs into his landlord, who is having lunch. Akira, of course, could have wished him a delicious meal... but he is feasting on another tenant! The whole city has been taken over by zombies! Akira barely escapes... And discovers that he hasn't felt so alive in a long time.
But it may not be for long. So he should immediately start working on the list of things he has just made that he wants to do before he turns into a zombie!
