Architectonics of ancient culture. Masonry of architectural and ancient studies

The book is devoted to Hellenistic-Roman architecture in connection with Hellenistic-Roman culture and ancient culture in connection with ancient architecture. Architecture – a form of social existence – of the ancient world is considered in a general cultural context (science, belief, literature, music, theater, etiquette) as a model of functional processes that were outlined by this context. Phenomena of ancient culture (myth, form, body, word, ekphrasis, historical source, column, pillar, color, pediment, architect, etc.) are represented through the relationship of human life with its environment, which is reflected in the materials of the architectural form and the text about this form. The socio-cultural principles of the architectural process in the ancient world are traced and visualized as a correlation with the formation of the local architectural form. The transcendental-aesthetic category of "aesthetic object" is deployed in a number of specific contexts.
