Yasmina Reza is a famous French writer, playwright and screenwriter. Her works have been translated into more than thirty-five languages, and her plays are performed in leading theaters around the world. She is the winner of the most prestigious theater awards in the world: the Tony Award, the Moliere and Laurence Olivier Awards, the Grand Theater Prize of the French Academy, and others. In Ukraine, Yasmina Reza is known for her plays Dieu de carnage (2006) and Art (1994).
With the play Bella Figura (2015), she continues her inherent search for chthonic elements in a person, like a skilled surgeon, presenting to the world true and false feelings, relationships, actions, etc. The author's thought knows no "ordinary" or "random" events: for it, every little thing is important, and even the smallest detail is a component of the giant puzzle of life.
