The reason for each essay in this cycle was a specific and often banal case - an overheard conversation, a reading book, a song heard at the right time, a tasteless salad and a tasty candy, general cleaning, drawing up a resume and plans for the year, infidelity, a successful haircut, a new wrinkle. And this book is definitely not about candy and cleaning.
In every minute, something is expected of us, we are advised, we are demanded of us, we are forced to do something, we are encouraged, we are tempted - while we are just choosing comfortable socks for sleeping. This book offers to consider what social and communicative contracts hide everyday private experiences. Or forces, or advises, or tempts...
Most of the essays were previously published on the website of the newspaper "The Day" and the portal "Gender in Details" (but not all, indeed not all).
