The Tao Te Ching is one of the oldest and most important texts of ancient Chinese philosophical thought, which is the cornerstone of the traditional Chinese worldview. That is why it already, in ancient times, received the status of a canonical text - the Jin and is considered a kind of "bible" of one of the leading worldview trends in China - Taoism.
The Ukrainian reader is offered not only a new translation of this work and a detailed commentary on each fragment but also the original text in an edition based on archaeological finds of its hitherto unknown lists. The translation is accompanied by an afterword, which analyzes the historical context of the emergence of this text, its specific terminology, and basic worldview ideas.
The book "DAO DE JIN. The canon of path and ability" is accompanied by a translation from ancient Chinese, comments, and an afterword by Andrii Nakorchevskyi.
