Outbreaks - disasters of an unexplained nature - turned the once flourishing Cimmeryk peninsula into ashes. Desht is the world of a new order. The inhabitants of the earth, who managed to survive, became salty, and the Elder Brothers look at the dead world from the flying station "Mother of the Winds".

One of them, Talavir, is tasked with investigating the murder and finding the Golden Cradle, a mysterious weapon developed by the scientist Mamai. But, having set foot on the dried-up land of Desht, he will no longer be able to return.
