In the book "The Upside of Irrationality: The Unexpected Benefits of Defying Logic at Work and at Home", behavioral economist Dan Ariely shares the results of his experiments and, traditionally, tells us how irrational people really are. However, in contrast to Predictably Irrational, the author argues that this irrational nature makes us beautifully human and adds color to life, such as our ability to find meaning in our work, fall in love with our creations and ideas, our willingness to trust, and our ability to adapt.
The book is also a great example of, firstly, the art of storytelling, and secondly, the author's ability to explain difficult and complex psychological concepts in simple words.
