Sixteen-year-old Al lives the life of a completely ordinary American teenager. He does not stand out at school, and after school he hangs out with a friend or works part-time at a movie theater. He falls in love with unattainable beauties without reciprocity and worries about entering the university. Al's parents are divorced, each has a new family: his father - in Ukraine, his mother - in the USA. Having come to his father for the holidays, Al meets Eva - his "new sister".
Fifteen-year-old Eva is a fiery girl, bright and impulsive. She hangs out with rockers, hangs out at the "Bochka" bar and loves an adult man: a musician, of course. Al and Eva - get to know life, grow up, make mistakes, learn to be friends, communicate, experience their first loves and first life difficulties.
