Phenomenology of Experience. Vakhtang Kebuladze

The monograph is devoted to the study of the internal tendency of transcendental phenomenology, which consists in its transformation from a philosophy of consciousness to a philosophy of experience. Vakhtang Kebuladze presents phenomenology as a transcendental empiricism, which is an anti-metaphysical project that combines certain elements of modern European empiricism and classical transcendentalism, overcoming the shortcomings and limitations of these philosophical doctrines. The study examines such characteristics of the experience of consciousness as intentionality, temporality, intersubjectivity and corporeality, which from the point of view of transcendental phenomenology appear to be conditions for the possibility of experience in general; the pre-predicative level of experience, passive synthesis and language as a constitutive element of experience are analyzed.
