Clay bridge

This family saga (in grandeur worthy of the epicness of the Iliad and the Odyssey) was typed by one of the five Dunbar brothers on an old typewriter that once belonged to the Killer. However, the Killer was not always the Killer. And later it turns out that he is not the Killer at all.

Against the backdrop of the escape from behind the Iron Curtain far across the ocean and to the sounds of the piano and Homer's hexameters across the dried-up Amana River, Michael Dunbar sets out to build a bridge. Only one of the five boys, who hate him fiercely for some incomprehensible reason, is called to help him. And through the incredible efforts of father and son, among the Australian eucalyptus trees and plains (as if from under the chisel of Michelangelo), a bridge appears, the beauty of which resembles the Pont du Gard.

But what does this story have to do with a snake skeleton, horse racing, and a mule named Achilles?
