The publication includes color photo illustrations of women's and men's headdresses of the Dolynians, Hutsuls, Boikos and Lemkos of Zakarpattia, which are stored in the fund collection of the Uzhhorod Open-Air Museum, as well as exhibits collected by Vasyl Kotsan over many years during ethnographic expeditions to various regions of the region. The book presents various types of traditional headdresses - from women's braids, wreaths, bonnets and scarves to men's felt and straw hats, as well as warm woolen caps.
The publication is designed to preserve and popularize the unique heritage of the region's folk costume, which is an integral part of the cultural heritage of Ukraine.
