Terrodefense fighter of the city of Oklunkov Oleksandr Odisseyovich Vyshnia is arrested after a strange shooting incident. From the cell he is brought to talk to strangers in camouflage, who offer Sasha to join the ranks of the Separate Mobile Mental Defense Unit. So he becomes a fighter engaged in the search and destruction of monsters. The unit is named after Hryhoriy Savich Skovoroda, who was the first known Ukrainian monster hunter.
