Yuriy Gudymenko (born 1987) is a Ukrainian politician, leader of the Democratic Axe Movement, and in the past a blogger, TV presenter, and publicist. After the Russian invasion, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was a sapper, and was wounded.

“This is not an ordinary book. There is no plot here, no characters who linger for a long time. This is a collection of texts, speeches, and historical essays that I have written and continue to write to this day. There are funny texts and unfunny texts, there are words that I wrote in good humor and those that I wrote in the hospital, not being sure that I would ever get back on my feet. There are even texts that I am ashamed of, but they will still be here, in the book, because I said them and I wrote them” (Y. Gudymenko).
