Collocations are stable combinations of words, formed according to the compatibility of parts of speech. For example, a broad accent (adjective + noun) — strong accent; to attend school (verb + noun) — to attend school; sth falls on (verb + preposition) — to fall on a certain date (about a holiday). English collocations help to make speech more natural and fluent. Therefore, they are most often chosen by copywriters, journalists and everyone who needs English for writing English texts, preparing for the written part of exams and everyday communication.
