Natalia Kobrynska is one of the first feminists of Galicia. In her works, she consistently raised the issues of women's education, moral choice, and the right to vote.
The author explores identity as a conscious choice, not an automatic acceptance of a role. She skillfully combines folk language with literary language, creating vivid stories about fears and losses. Kobrynska shows how even in difficult circumstances a person finds dignity and strength.
