Who grows in the forest?

This is a completely ordinary story about how a grumbling badger and mischievous squirrels saved the world… that is, their native forest. But it is also about how many shades of autumn leaves of beeches and hornbeams have, how spruce and larch prepare for winter, whether oak moss is actually moss, and why you shouldn’t burn dead trees, even if it seems like no one lives there.

This book also encourages readers to think about how valuable memories are, trains their attention (try to find all the soldier bugs hidden in the drawings by artist Oksana Bula!) and offers a “recipe” for making a wonderful garland in eco-style.
