“Esther’s Rooms” is a story of a family full of love and despair. From the last one, ten-year-old Esther learned to escape. One, two, three — and now she is no longer at home, but in the Rooms, where the sea is pouring and a balloon is soaring in the sky. Here, everything is under her control. Maybe even saving her father.
Esther’s father is the owner of an amusement park and a talented engineer. He also drinks and cannot stop, and neither his wife nor his daughter are able to influence his addiction. Despite everything, the parents try to somehow fix their lives, but each next step leads them to another abyss, and Esther herself to a new Room.
Frightened, but determined, she sets off to where she refuses to return on her own. But will Esther be able to pull someone who doesn’t know what they are falling from out of the abyss?
