Life and a gloomy last name are all that Baya Grim received from her parents. She gained the rest herself: she learned not to expect help, not to ask for anything from anyone and to rely only on her own strength. Her path is woven from struggle and determination. And the future she so desires is very close.
But when she is two months away from studying at her dream college, her mother dies. Without a place to live and support, Baya is forced to turn to a person who is almost a stranger to her - her father - and somehow survive the rest of the summer on the Texas peninsula.
And then Samson appears.
They are from different worlds. She grew up in poverty, and he lives in luxury. Baya is not used to trusting people, but a strange connection immediately arises between her and Samson. Both are drawn to the sad. And this is what attracts them to each other.
The agreement is simple: a short summer flirtation, without promises and deep relationships. But feelings are as treacherous as the ocean. Bea doesn't yet know that a wave is coming that will capture her heart and carry her into a whirlpool where she will no longer be able to remain unharmed...
