Music is more than notes, and books are more than just words. Than just paper, embossed binding or shiny illustrations. Rintaro, a high school student, realizes this when he goes into a magical labyrinth to save books. The guy does not look like a superhero in any way: withdrawn, pale, thin, wearing thick glasses. But he has one superpower - a sincere love for books. And also - a strange companion - the cat Tiger, who purrs in a straight line and sometimes quotes "The Little Prince". Together they perform three rescue missions. Saving books in the 21st century? From whom? From people who chase quantity, kill individuality in favor of simplification and publish information junk while literary diamonds gather dust.

This is a touching story about the power of reading, book worlds, love, values, the search for identity and the courage found.
