Clay Cooper and his gang were once the best, most feared, and most famous mercenary team this side of the Outskirts. They were called the Kings of Dreadful Lands, because even the most terrifying monsters were not scary to them.

Their glory days are long gone, the mercenaries have gone their separate ways and grown old, fat, or sleepy, or all at once.

Then a former gang member comes to Clay with a plea for help: his daughter Rose is trapped in a city besieged by a hundred thousand enemy horde, hungry for blood. Saving Rose is an impossible mission that only the very brave or the very stupid would sign up for.

It's time to get the gang back together.
