"The Crown" is the first part of the famous trilogy "Christine, Daughter of Lavrans" by the famous Norwegian writer, Nobel Prize laureate in 1928, Sigrid Unset. The three parts of the novel are three main periods in the life of the main character Christine, the first of which tells about the development and formation of her father's favorite from childhood, fun in the yard, learning the secrets of the forest, meeting the monk Edwin, who eventually becomes her informal spiritual mentor, up to the engagement and fighting for the right to marry at the call of the heart. Christine, despite her traditional upbringing and education, despite losses, mistakes and fears, courageously fights for the happiness of being next to her beloved.
