Rostislav Zabashta's full-color monographic study is dedicated to the image of Onuphrius the Great, an early Christian hermit-ascetic, one of the most revered saints. The author focuses on the reasons for the spread and rise of his cult in the native lands and the features of the iconographic embodiment of his image in painting, sculpture, works of decorative and applied art, etc. Period: the High Middle Ages - the end of the Modern Age.
