"Lara" is a triquel to Maryna Hrymych's novel "Klavka". The image of the 26-year-old main character has already managed to fall in love with readers. Thanks to her, they immersed themselves in everyday life of Kyiv in the 1940s, in particular the Ukrainian literary community of that time, and at the same time followed with interest the intrigue of her private life.
In the sequel - the novel "Yura" - Klavka already appears as the mother of a student of the physics faculty; both fall into the vortex of complex events of 1968, which take place in the literary and university circles of Kyiv, and the love line that began in the first novel develops.
And Lara is Klavchyna's granddaughter. The image of this gifted but very original girl is revealed again through the observations, experiences, and thoughts of Klavka, who has to steer the family ship through the times of the Chornobyl disaster. Lara is the daughter of Yura and a Crimean Tatar woman, and she will have to make her first serious choice in the novel. She will also have to find her way in the piquant situation of "déjà vu" surrounding the love intrigue that developed in "Klavka" and continued in "Yura".
