Despite the enmity and hatred that separated them, Communism and Nazism had much more in common than meets the eye. One enemy - bourgeois society and one goal - to "cleanse the world" by any means, even violating the laws of humanity.
Italian sociologist and journalist Luciano Pellicani comes to this opinion. Based on various sources and his conclusions, he proves that this is where the desire of both Hitler and Lenin to carry out such a powerful revolution so that the world would become perfect and finally begin to correspond to their views comes from. However, at a historical distance, we understand that the ideals of both Nazism and Communism led to one point - cruel totalitarianism.
Why should you read the book "Lenin and Hitler? Two hypostases of totalitarianism"?
Objectively and argumentatively, the author debunks the myth of communism and Nazism as polar ideologies, convincing that they had much more in common than it seems at first glance.
Reveals the hitherto unexplored aspects of totalitarianism.
The publication of this book, as well as the preparation and printing of the books of the "Friends of the Open Society" series, was carried out with the assistance of the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Ukraine.
