Why did they flee into the forest like driven animals? What were they ready to die for at any moment? Persecution, interrogations, unequal battles, hiding in hiding places, a stigma on the whole family, Siberian camps... Because the will is more expensive than life! Shooting, hiding, chasing and fighting - almost like in a Hollywood action movie. At the same time, full of Ukrainian lyricism...
The linguistic semantics of "Forest Boys" is often related to the realities in which the events took place. Rhyming lines are sometimes woven into the prose, but this is more of a suggestion than a poetic narrative. In general, the tests in this book are varied. Some are more expressive, others are more reserved. And the time of its appearance is just right, because only from a distance can you see the whole picture, and conclusions from what you see can be drawn in the present.
