The book of memoirs by Liubomyr Huzar is based on conversations recorded at his request in 2014-2016. It is a direct speech of the patriarch himself, his personal address to the readers.
The text records the story of Liubomyr Huzar's life: his childhood in interwar Ukraine, his early years in Austria, his growing up and search for a vocation in America, his monastic ministry in Italy, and his eventual return to Ukraine after the restoration of independence. However, this is not only an account of events, but also a spiritual and intellectual biography.
The book is illustrated with photographs from private archives, many of which are published for the first time.
