Borys Teneta (1903–1935) was a Ukrainian poet and prose writer of the executed revival. The collection "Letters from Crimea" includes works from publications during his lifetime and those printed in periodicals of the 1920s–1930s. In his early works, Teneta, a novelist, sometimes speaks on behalf of a hungry poet ("Hunger"), sometimes on behalf of a brother who longs for his deceased sister ("City"), sometimes on behalf of a young man in love ("Musema"), and sometimes humorously tells about the falling in love of a group of young men for one girl ("Letters from Crimea").
