In one of the most famous paintings in the world, almost no one notices the three tiny figures on the edge of a pier. For most viewers, it's just a seascape. However, Louise, a lonely eighteen-year-old girl who dreams of becoming an artist, sees something more: each of these figures hides a story. In a remote seaside town, an abandoned pier shelters four teenagers from life's disappointments: there they joke, dream, and confide in each other. Friends - those for whom it is worth waking up in the morning - become a support for these lost souls. That unforgettable summer, a work of art is born, which twenty-five years later will unexpectedly fall into the hands of Louise. She wants to learn the history of the creation of her beloved painting, so she sets off on a journey full of surprises that will change her life forever. "My Friends" is a poignant and light story about the power of friendship, art, and how happy endings don't always match our expectations.
