"My Quiet Christmas" is a new collection of short prose by modern Ukrainian writers, which continues the tradition of Christmas anthologies from the Old Lion Publishing House. On the pages of this book, Christmas is celebrated by a large Galician family, as well as a volunteer woman for whom time freezes without a text message from the front, a Muslim woman confused by Advent calendars, and even an atheist woman who diligently prepares twelve dishes.
The heroes of this collection honor old traditions and create new ones, search for meaning and wait for the future. They are happy, nostalgic, taste, remember their childhood, look for the perfect Christmas scenes and sculpt the perfect ears with mushrooms.
