The proposed edition is a continuation of the series of publications of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, which acquaint connoisseurs of folk art with individual collections of the museum. It contains color photo illustrations of traditional folk, as well as author's women's jewelry made of beads from the stock collection of the Uzhhorod open-air museum. The text and album parts are accompanied by black-and-white photographs from the end of the 19th to the middle of the 20th centuries, showing women in traditional folk clothing, which includes beaded jewelry.
Traditional samples of beadwork of Dolynians, Hutsuls, Boykos and Lemkos of Transcarpathia are presented here. Particular attention is paid to the author's products - charms and necklaces of Iryna Kutsyk, Melaniia Balazh, Mariia Kupar, Olha Lovha and Viktoriia Symkovych.
For ethnographers, art historians, museum workers, researchers of folk decorative and applied art and anyone interested in the material culture of Transcarpathia.
