The book covers the 12-year history of the MUHi competition and records changes and trends in young art during this period. By gathering an archive of young Ukrainian artists’ collaboration with the MUHi competition, it reflects the changes that have occurred in young art over the past decade.
At the same time, the book seeks to find answers to the most pressing questions:
- how have the rates of socio-economic and technological development influenced the formation of the creative practices of young artists?
- how have political changes and upheavals in Ukraine affected young people?
- can art create the ground for change and provoke qualitative shifts in social life?
