Zafira is a Huntress and, disguised as a man, bravely goes to the cursed forest of Arzu to feed her people. Nasir is the Prince of Death, who kills those who are foolish enough to defy his tyrannical father, the Sultan. If Zafira is exposed as a girl, all her achievements will be disregarded; if Nasir shows sympathy, his father will subject him to the most cruel punishments. Both Zafira and Nasir are legends in the kingdom of Arabia, but they do not want to be.
War is approaching; Arzu is getting closer every day, shrouding the land in shadow. When Zafira sets out to find a lost artifact that can return magic to her suffering world and stop Arzu, the Sultan sends Nasir on a similar mission: to return the artifact and kill the Huntress. But as their journey begins, an ancient evil awakens, and the trophy they seek may become an unimaginable threat to them.
