The catalog album represents the unique work of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Olena Kulchytska in the field of ethnography - her collection "Folk Clothing of the Western Regions of Ukraine", which includes 426 works in various techniques: watercolors, graphic sketches with ink, pen and pencil, linocuts.
The book presents watercolors depicting folk costumes from such historical and ethnographic regions of Western Ukraine as Podillia, Pokuttia, Bukovyna, Hutsulshchyna, Boykivshchyna, Opillia, Volyn, and Polissia, as well as from ethnic Ukrainian lands that were part of Poland after the Second World War and Slovakia.
The collection shows ancient Ukrainian clothes from the end of the 19th - the first third of the 20th century, which the artist painted during 1910-1953.
