The Thread

Pavlo Korobchuk's new book contains his poems of the last five years. War and peaceful life. Summer and February. Front and rear. Memory and anticipation. Paul's texts are woven into a canvas on which a general pattern emerges - our whole life, as it was, as it is now.

A thread is a shaft in a loom, on which the base of the cloth is held. The same poetic canvas that the poet creates with the help of words. Each text is a new thread. And only by taking a few steps back, you can understand what picture they make together.

Pavlo Korobchuk is a writer and musician. The author of the poetry books "Needle", "Twinkle", "Dinosaur", "Kaifology", "Day and Night" (with B.-O. Horobchuk and O.
