Leaving behind her abusive boss and the hectic life in the capital, Florka moves to the small village of Zremki. Here, amidst picturesque nature, she hopes to find peace and enjoy her favorite job. However, there is no peace in the local veterinary clinic, where the girl gets a job as a paramedic. The new boss is not only a necromancer, but also... not quite alive, her colleague is a faun, and the patients are mostly creatures that Florka has only read about in books. She will have to save dogs poisoned by fairy pollen, help remove manticore teeth, and even treat a real unicorn. Florka is not at all sure whether she is capable of such work, but she knows one thing for sure: although magical creatures are dangerous, they are very vulnerable and need our care.
