Teahouse owner. Matchmaker. Detective?
Sixty-year-old self-proclaimed tea expert Vera Vaughn enjoys sipping fragrant oolong and conducting online investigations (i.e., checking to see if her son has finally started dating someone).
But when Vera wakes up one morning to find a dead man in the middle of her teahouse, it becomes clear that a cup of strong Longjing won’t be enough to solve the situation. Vera is convinced that the police can’t handle this as well as she can (after all, no one can sniff out a crime better than a suspicious Chinese mom with a ton of free time), so she decides to take matters into her own hands.
