Endless conversations

The idea for this book was born in Yevhenia Kononenko, a writer and cultural researcher, after reading Borges's "Private Book Collection", which expresses the thoughts of the great thinker about the most glorious literary masterpieces. This publication is a small library that has become a cell for a writer who rereads iconic books and writes about them as about her life as a refugee in France. And her cultural identity. And culture as an endless conversation that breaks off, projecting lines of Lesya Ukrainka's poetry onto modern realities, when a single word opened the coffin in her soul: "My friends cannot stand the tension of dialogue, and during the second year of the war I find myself in the space of those conversations when the interlocutor interrupts, breaks off a phrase if his worldview is encroached upon in it. In the space of unwillingness to go to the end. In the space of heroic delusion and cowardice. In the space of the desire to idealize our own and demonize all strangers without exception."
