Not Little Things is a poem-chronicle describing the events of the great resistance of the Ukrainian people. One line of the poem is one story of our struggle. The book mentions everyday manifestations of the heroism of Ukrainians, stories that have been imprinted in our hearts and have already become part of modern Ukrainian history. So that the whole world could get to know Ukraine, which stuns, moves, and inspires, the authors of the book asked the world champion of the poetry slam, Harry Baker, to combine cult stories in one poem. In response, Harry created a poem of Ukrainian courage.
Excerpt of the poem:
"...From the playboy model volunteering to help peel potatoes,
To the woman who took out a drone with a jar of tomatoes,
The teenager whose own toy drone discovered Russian troops,
or the Kharkiv zookeeper evacuating kangaroos..."

Not Little Things resembles a yellow-blue flag, so the reader seems to unfold Ukraine in front of him and look into its very essence - the courage of Ukrainians. Each page of the book is a separate work of visual and graphic art, where hundreds of small details are woven into a single panel of large-scale resistance. Some pages were hand-drawn, scanned, and placed into the book to enhance the sense of reality of the stories.
Not Little Things deserves to be on our shelves, reminding us that everyone is capable of a small feat for the sake of a common victory, and the ode to modern Ukrainian history should resound, inspiring the whole world.
