The Last Library

June Jones works as a library assistant and believes that every book has its own unique smell, and the smell of a library is a combination of the aromas of a thousand different stories. She spends all her time reading — working with books, coming home to books, and having fun turning people around into characters in stories. The only thing June doesn't like is going out into the world. But one day, the library that holds her mother's most precious memories is threatened with closure. That's why June, with Ms. B, who viciously criticizes the novels of Ishiguro and Marquez, school friend and Game of Thrones fan Alex Chen, eight-year-old Jackson who loves to read Lord of the Flies, and a group of other quirky locals decide to fight to keep the most expensive place in Chalkoti opens up to other people for the first time after her mother's death.

To save the library and the books that mean so much to each of them, June must finally change her life. After all, the library is not only books, and by saving it, there is a chance to save yourself.
