Reporter Freya Sinclair has always known she's different. While waiting for the results of her autism diagnosis, she decides to change her life - quit her job at a leading Scottish newspaper and move to her hometown in Orkney. But her plans are shattered when a winter storm washes up human remains on the shores of the wild Atlantic.
