Was it coincidence or fate that brought fifty-year-old widowed journalist Leonardo Guerrieri, with his brilliant past and uncertain future, to meet Martin Rocher, a quiet, withdrawn orphan boy who is alone trying to cope with his own problems? Leonardo and Martin are not at all similar neither in origin nor in age, but both have a difficult fate. Martin has Asperger's syndrome. And so Leonardo makes an unexpected decision - to leave Milan and move to a remote, remote place in the middle of the forests and valleys of the Piedmont Alps.
It is there, in the silence of the mountains, watching the clouds in the sky and taking care of the animals in the pastures, that the boy will find himself, and his named father will find his lost mental balance.
A very bright polyphonic story, full of humanity and sensitivity - about changes, parenthood, youth, and growing up, where father and son come to understand themselves through communication with nature, reviving in their souls the most important immortal values: simplicity and beauty.
