It is difficult to say that Petro Franko was in the shadow of history. Even during his lifetime, the restless son of Kamenyar was recognized, as he contributed to many things - from managing the first Letun department of the Ukrainian Galician Army and spreading "Plast" in Ukraine to chemical research, publishing activities and the creation of his father's first museum.
But Petro also wrote. As in life, in the texts we see the search for his own path through experiments with genres and themes. In some stories and in the novel "From Strypa to Damascus" there is an echo of the author's own experience - a former four-man and traveler. Lively and dynamic works did not break through the loud fame of his father's poems and verses, but they did not lose the color and character, so similar to Petrov's.
