"Port Zhytana" is a cozy restaurant on the shore of the picturesque Lake Geneva. At different times, it becomes a special place for Mark Mazur, a Ukrainian émigré artist who became famous for his avant-garde works in interwar Paris, and Serhiy Kovalenko, an art critic who collects for an influential Kyiv oligarch and tries to solve the mystery of the mysterious disappearance of his illustrious countryman.
"Port Zhytana" is a novel in which history is closely intertwined with modernity, and art is closely intertwined with human destinies and relationships. This is a novel about forced escape and inevitable return, false "love" and true love, about the daily choices that a person makes.
