Have you ever wondered about the stories behind the creation of certain canvases? Who was there and why? The "Book about a picture" series, created together with leading Kyiv museums, will give you such an opportunity!
Six-year-old Olia lives in a magical children's world where toys speak and act when their owners are not looking. The girl likes to draw because she grows up in a family of artists. The story took place in winter Kyiv in the 50s on the former Chervonoarmiyska Street. This story was inspired by the Ukrainian artist Tetyana Yablonska's painting "Cold", although it cannot be called biographical. The author was just trying to imagine how the canvas was created.
