Nancy McWilliams is a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, a lecturer at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University (New Jersey), has a private practice in Flemington (New Jersey), a former president of the Psychoanalysis Section of the American Psychological Association, and a member of the editorial board of the journal Psychoanalytic Psychology.
