It is said that the boring, dry, and overloaded text with complex sentences is serious, and light and pleasant to read is not. However, this isn't true. Analytical writing can be elegant and captivating, and most importantly, it can cause changes in actions or consciousness. Being able to write such a text is a useful skill in today's world.

In this book, analyst Kateryna Zarembo and a group of researchers from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", the Ukrainian Catholic University, and the Kyiv School of Economics lift the veil on the work of analysts, analyzing the analytical text from its conception and purpose to its structure and evaluation of its effectiveness. The authors will show how to conduct the necessary research analysis, build arguments, choose a writing style, and not only interest but also convince your audience.

Kateryna Zarembo is an analyst on the foreign policy of Ukraine, a trainer in writing analytical materials, an associate analyst at the "New Europe" Center, and a lecturer at the International Relations Department of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".

The following also worked on the book: Iryna Lapshyna, Ilona Solohub, Taras Doroniuk, Anna Yurgen

The manual was prepared within the framework of the Initiative for the Development of Analytical Centers in Ukraine, which is implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE) with the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine.
