The fourteenth issue of the literary reportage and documentary photography magazine Reporters is dedicated to food, which in times of war became a symbol of resistance and solidarity for Ukrainians, as well as a marker of national identity.
In this issue, we explore how the gastronomic practices of a nation that had to defend its right to exist with weapons are changing, and we also consider food as an act of decolonization. While the Soviet government purposefully destroyed the city's culinary culture, today we are returning to the lost uniqueness - we are searching for interrupted traditions and at the same time building new ones.
