Semen's Dawns

"Semen's Dawns" is an allegorical fairy tale where every image and character is not accidental, and every event that happens to the protagonist prompts him to deep philosophical reflections and important conclusions, and contributes to his personal growth.

A young man named Semen lives in Stari Plavni, which stretches along the Borysfen on one side and is surrounded by a rampart on the other. He has amazing clear blue eyes, as deep as the sky itself. He is in love with Vasylynka, and they plan to get married, even arranging his house to bring his young wife there.

However, before they get married, the guy decides to travel beyond the ramparts to see the village from the other side. But Semen's biggest dream is to learn how to light stars.
