Semiosis

Semiosis is an unusual science fiction saga about coexistence, conflict and mutual understanding between humans and an intelligent life form originating from the plant kingdom. Sue Bjork creates a profound allegory about colonization, ecology, language and power, unfolding events on a distant planet, where every life is part of a large system of signs, influences and adaptations. On the new planet Pax, a group of earthlings found a colony, hoping to build a harmonious society from scratch.
