The book includes two works from Mykhailo Brynykh's prose cycle "Chess for dummies": the eponymous "educational novel", first published in 2008, in which "the boy Misha" and his mentor Dr. Padliuccio begin a thorny path to the "pure chess Grail", and a new edition of the action-packed story "Crystal Pig Farm", which tells of the metaphysical confrontation between the unchanging main characters and natural evil in the company of all sorts of hooligans and scoundrels. At stake is the fate of humanity, which is to be determined by the outcome of the chess game between God and his ancient horned opponent, but - as always happens in life - there are several nuances...
The works are written in the author's linguistic construct, in which a mixture of lexical oil and stylistic resin, seasoned with macabre folk speech, boils.
